For Peer Mentors
Lived experience, supported by structure.
Peer mentors bring their own post-adoption journey to birth parents who are earlier in theirs. ANCHOR Connect gives you matching, session tools, escalation protocols, and supervision so you can hold space safely and sustainably.
What you do in ANCHOR Connect
- Complete the peer mentor training and review your scope-of-practice agreement.
- Accept mentor match requests and hold a first-contact conversation.
- Log sessions, note themes, and flag anything requiring clinical or crisis escalation.
- Practice boundaries and self-care; check in with your supervisor on a regular cadence.
