The Clinical Services Curriculum provides adoption-competent therapists and clinicians with a structured treatment framework integrating grief theory, trauma-informed care, attachment theory, identity reconstruction, meaning-making approaches, continuing bonds theory, and adoption-specific clinical interventions. The curriculum offers assessment protocols, treatment planning tools, intervention guides, therapeutic exercises, clinical case studies, and progression pathways that support individualized care while maintaining alignment with the ROOTS framework.
Clinicians are trained to distinguish trauma responses from grief processes, address systemic and contextual factors affecting adoption decisions, support identity formation, reduce shame and self-blame, facilitate narrative repair, and strengthen emotional regulation and resilience. The model supports individual therapy, family work, group treatment, and telehealth delivery while promoting consistency across services and providers.
